Founded in 1853, we are one of the oldest and still totally independent average agencies in the UK. The founder Dr. Wendt was actively engaged in the movement resulting in the York Antwerp Rule of the 19th century. Naturally tradition plays an important part, but it has always been our aim to face new situations and problems in an everchanging world. The container revolution was one example. The rising crime rate, in particular the theft of complete loads necessitating a new approach to investigation and recovery of goods was another. With a staff of around 20 we are small enough to give clients a personal service but large enough to be able to specialise in the various fields we cover. |
